The students engaging in the Seminar also expressed their dreams as well as thoughts about future competition for a job. P.T, a third year student with Finance major from Thang Long University, told about her personal experience applying for two job posts and got no feedback. T.H, a business administration major student, who had a passion for information technology, asked which IT certificate he should get. All the students expressed their interests in the recruitment testing process as it comes to that, at several companies, the initial screening on English and IT can be waived if the candidates possess standardized assessment certificates.

Specialists from The Seminar talked about the fierce competition in the current labor market, and in order to get a job, besides professional skills, students should make themselves more bright and shining by soft skills such as English language proficiency and IT literacy. How to master those skills and catch a recruiter’s eye was discussed in detail by Specialists from IIG Vietnam and HR Managers from Manpower and VP Bank. Besides, the students were provided with the most updated recruitment information from VP Bank, during which the recruiter advised that the students should actively add more experience in their CV by applying for internship in companies.

* The sales charges for buying and selling the investments are clearly explained, as are any fees for selling within a certain time frame.
* The investments are registered with the Security and Exchange Commission (SEC) or your state's securities regulator, and the salespeople who sell them are licensed by the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA).
* Finally, you understand the risks of the investment and how it works.
FINRA (at finra.org) offers educational information on investing, scams to watch out for and market data and investment comparison programs to help you evaluate the choices you're considering.

Sequencing
It is highly suggested that learners first learn the strategies with very straightforward text-types such as forms and tables and gradually work up to the more difficult text-types categories such as letters and miscellaneous reading passages.

* They're easy to buy and sell, either through a brokerage account or in some cases directly from the issuer. Thinly traded stocks or securities that aren't listed on a major exchange are rarely a good idea for most investors.

The Seminar ended with enjoyment and good impression from the students at Thang Long University. It once again affirmed the determination of the school to integrate MOS into the school’s academic disciplines to enhance students’ IT proficiency up to international standards. As shared by the School Management Board, training students was not just limited to satisfying local recruiters but also for a broader ASEAN labor market, which will be integrated soon in 2015.

Each unit of work follows the same genre-approach methodology and addresses each of the seven reading strategies. See Figure 1 for a list of the seven strategies and how they correspond with questions frequently encountered on the TOEIC test.

It's important to understand how different types of investments put your money to work.
Risks and potential returns vary greatly among investment types. Stocks offer you the potential for growth, but they can be volatile. Bonds generally provide income and lower volatility, but also lower potential for growth. Treasury bills, CDs, and money market funds are secure but may not keep up with inflation.
When you're in your late 50s or 60s be cautious about taking on investment risk, since your portfolio may not have a chance to recover from a market downturn before you need to start drawing on your retirement assets. When you retire, your goal is not only providing continued growth while taking limited investment risk but also ensuring that you have a stream of income that can cover a portion of your living expenses.

It's good sense to make your investment choice from those that share these important characteristics:
* They're easy to evaluate because there's lots of information about them. Regulators require that certain information be disclosed to investors through documents such as mutual fund prospectuses, corporate filings for stock issued by public companies that trade on the major stock markets, and prospectuses or offering statements for bonds.
