BOSTON (AP) - Conan O'Brien is coming to Harvard to talk about the value of a liberal arts education.
The late night TV host will visit the Cambridge campus on Friday for a conversation about arts and education with university President Drew Faust, followed by questions from the audience.
O'Brien is a Brookline native and a 1985 graduate of the Ivy League university, which has about 29,000 students. He hosts "Conan" on TBS and is a former host of "The Tonight Show" on NBC.
The ticketed event will be held at 4 p.m. at Harvard's Sanders Theatre. It will also be streamed live on the university's website.

Sponsors that fail to carry out thorough assessments risk being unable to mount a defence against an accusation that they present a serious threat to immigration control.
ETS designed the workshop in a way that allows discussions and high interactivity. The workshop also provides its attendees with the latest updates on the test, teaching tips, teachable strategies for achieving the best score, how to effectively integrate more activities into TOEIC test practice course, and recommendations on the most up-to-date and appropriate course materials.
At the end of the workshop, the attendees got certified by the ETS as TOEIC Master Trainers. They will continue to train other teachers and contribute to improve the quality of TOEIC instructors in South East Asia.

After the course, we hope to create a TOEIC teaching community in the region", said Ms Tran Thi Hieu Thuy, an English teacher from Hanoi National University, one of the Vietnamese attendees of the workshop.

As such the College represented a serious threat to immigration control and this justified it having its licence being revoked and being, in effect, shut down."
